Poetry about Java… I’m definately not a poet. I wrote this during my second semester freshman year, my Writing About Literature class must have gotten to me. :)

public static void main,
Java is OO, reliable and secure,
the people of C++ look on with disdain,
the object of Java seems so obscure.

Java is OO, reliable and secure,
the API, so large and vast,
the object of Java seems so obscure,
people just can’t find things fast.

the API, so large and vast,
it covers things from network to sound,
people just can’t find things fast,
amounts of knowledge still unfound.
